We’re convinced that Wild Beer is just showing off now. You may have tried a fair few of its fruit-based beers, but next Thursday 22 August it will have a whopping 20 on tap at its Wapping Wharf bar for an event called Fruition.
All of those beers contain real fruit (insert your own ‘one of your five-a-day’ jokes here), the inclusion of which is something the team are keen to shout about, as well as the fact that many of said fruits are sourced near the Shepton Mallet brewery. Each beer has taken around 10 months to create, with the brewers determined to eke out maximum flavour.
A brand new beer called Amuse Strawberry will be launched on the day too, five years after the launch of the original ‘Amuse’ series.
The event is free to attend and there’s a 10 per cent discount when you try three one-third pints. There will also be guest beers, goodie bags and the opportunity to share a beer with the brewers.
So last week was pretty jammed with events, but we’re not slowing down!
