Watch out for Oxfordshire chef Ben Bullen on MasterChef!

The search for the country’s 2017 superstar continues, and tonight it’s the turn of Oxfordshire chef Ben Bullen

Ben Bullen, the head chef of the 2-AA-rosette

Magnolia Brasserie

at Faringdon’s Sudbury House Hotel is set to appear on tonight’s (Tuesday 15 November) episode of

MasterChef The Professionals.

He’s got a tough act to follow as the second chef from the establishment to appear on the BBC show after Nick Bennett – head chef of Restaurant 56 which

we reviewed

earlier in the year.

With judges Gregg Wallace, Monica Galetti and Marcus Wareing overlooking proceedings, it’s a daunting foray into competitive cooking.

“Being asked to compete in the 2017

MasterChef

: The Professionals is an honour,” says Ben. “It is probably the most nerve-wracking thing I have ever done and people who visit our restaurant will just have to tune in and watch how I get on!”

Tune in to BBC Two at 8pm tonight to see how he gets on!
