Sad news: Crumbs magazine is suspended

ble class="wp-block-table">We’re really sorry to announce that Crumbs magazine is being suspended for the foreseeable future from today.

Our glorious, wonderful Crumbs #100 issue published and distributed last week is our swansong for now. We step away for now with our heads held high. We thank all our readers and advertisers for their support over many years and all our issues to date.

We’ve absolutely loved publishing Crumbs. This is a very sad day.

We have taken the decision to suspend the magazine in light of the current COVID-19 outbreak and exceptionally difficult trading conditions in the sector.

In truth, trading has not been great for some time (other than the exceptional, one-off 100th), despite the sheer brilliance of our editor Jess, the creativity of our designer Trev, and the commercial effort led by Claire. The storm is just too strong.

We will continue to cover the local foodie scene through Bath Life (contact editor Matt and ad director Pat) and Bristol Life (editor Deri and ad manager Neil).

Our Crumbs website, Twitter and Insta channels will stay open, albeit in reduced form. We are still planning to hold our Crumbs Awards in the autumn where there’ll be a hell of a shindig once more…

Meantime, if you have queries about any advertising that’s due in Crumbs please contact Claire (any forward bookings will be cancelled of course). We wish you all the very best.

And thank you. It’s been a blast… Jess, Claire and the Crumbs team
