New cider club aims to deliver

Six top-drawer ciders delivered to your door every month? No, the milkman hasn’t gone rogue, Bristol Cider Shop has just launched the I Love Cider Club.

Each month, members receive four or five local brews and one or two special guest ciders that have been hand-picked by experts at Bristol’s award-winning cider retailer. The popular unit now stocks over 100 ciders made within 50 miles of Bristol, as well as picks from across the UK all of which feature in the subscription service.

Guest bottles might include special little numbers such as a sparkling Double Zero from Presshead in Wiltshire, or perhaps a Dabinett from Harry’s (named supreme champion at the British Cider Championships this year).

Along with your revered bottles, you’ll also receive tasting notes, recipes and cider news.

You can either have your subscription delivered, or save yourself a few quid and pop down to the shop to pick it up yourself (and maybe stop for one of their infamous cheese toasties). Monthly membership starts at £18 for six bottles.
