A cookery demo with a difference is being planned for Bristol’s Make Sunday Special event on 18 September. Based on the new kids’ cookbook Around the World with The Ingreedies, the event will see the head chef of Source at St Nicholas Market cooking up recipes from the book, in the company of its creators Zoe Bather and Joe Sharpe, and illustrator Chris Dickason.
The audience will get the chance to help collect and prep the ingredients, as well make spice pastes for the recipes, which they’ll then receive taster pots of once it’s finished. They can also buy a copy of the book and get it signed.
The demo will take place outside Source in the covered market at noon and 2pm. The Source café will also be serving a special menu that day, featuring dishes from the book.
