Contemporary wine bar opens at Finzels Reach

Le Vignoble has landed in Bristol, unveiling its largest self-serve wine venue to date

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a 2016 Avignonesi Rosso di Montepulciano.

You thought we were going all Trainspotting there, didn’t you? Well, it’s all about choice at new wine bar and shop Le Vignoble at Finzels Reach. Already popular in Bath and Plymouth for its self-serve wine dispensing machines, the brand will offer up to 64 wines from around the world in the restored brewery building – the largest of its sites.

Charge up a prepaid card and head to a dispenser. Measures come in three sizes, including a taster serving, so you can make sure that you like something before committing to a full glass. Nibble requirements are fulfilled with a French-style small plates menu, many of the ingredients being imported directly from Paris.

French founder, Yannick Loué says, “Finzels Reach is the perfect place for us to open in Bristol. It’s right in the heart of the city, in a wonderful historic building which oozes character, helping us to create a stylish but informal atmosphere. I’d like to extend a big invitation to the people of Bristol to come in and find out what we’re all about.”
