This little piggy went to Bath Spa

Have yourself a piggin’ break

Bristol producer The Jolly Hog – known for its sausages and bacon as well as sister restaurant Pigsty – has opened a kiosk at Bath Spa train station.

Jolly Hog: On The Trot is firing up the grill each morning to provide its award-winning sausage and bacon baps to hungry commuters. Other snackable menu highlights include porridge, sausage rolls and toasties, and morning caffeine will be courtesy of Clifton Coffee.

Jolly Hog – an indie business founded by three local brothers – makes butties that are considered a cut above the rest, using prime cuts of British, outdoor-reared pork from RSPCA Assured accredited farms. And it’s got 12 Great Taste stars among its range, if that leaves you in any doubt about this pork’s quality.

Jolly Hog: On The Trot is open all day, every day, serving breakfast and lunch. Give @TheJollyHog a follow on Twitter for the latest.
