11 April 2019
Our celebration of the seasons continues and now it will be the turn of Spring. Winter will have finally loosened its grasp on the world around us and we can embrace a new crop of fruit and veg, longer days and the smell of daffodils.
My three-course plant-based menu will be bookended with a welcome drink and nibble and something warming to send you on your way with the whole evening being hydrated by homemade cordials and wines from Novel Wine. I’ll be melding the move from hearty roast root dishes to lighter, hopeful Spring offerings with a nod to the cheeky month of April where you are likely to find unseasonally hot days shoulder to shoulder with an unexpected snow fall.
Be sure that whatever the weather throws at us, we will stay warm and snug in our intimate undercover eating den. A short walk from where you park up, you will find yourself at our enchanting venue for the evening amongst the trees. You will be well sheltered at the same time as feeling very much one with nature all around you. There will be extra blankets and open fires if there's a chill however the carafes of wine plus sitting snuggly with your fellow foodies will keep you warm.
Price: £35 for supper and £140 for 2 supper and stay
