There's a little corner of Bordeaux in Broadmead this week...

Bristol will have its own little corner of France come 27 May, with temporary wine bar Bar Bordeaux popping-up in Broadmead for a fortnight to to showcase the very best vinos from the French region.

There’ll be over 20 wines on offer, ranging from aromatic whites and refreshing rosés to sparkling crémants and soft, fruity reds. You’ll be able to order by the glass (from £5), share a bottle with friends (from £25) or try three 75ml glasses (£6).

If, like us, there's no way you'll be able to choose, you can book in a slot on a 'speed tasting' and enjoy five wines from the range, with a Bordeaux expert to guide you. Remember, there are no wrong answers when it comes to tasting so ‘absolutely banging’ is, although unorthodox, not incorrect.

Head to the Bar Bordeaux to book a speed tasting and explore the incredible breadth of Bordeaux sparkling, rosé, white and modern red wines, guided by an expert.
