Hotly-anticipated second restaurant from Pasta Loco launch date confirmed

It’s time to get in line. Refresh that browser. Enlist your friends to help. No, we’re not talking about getting tickets to Glastonbury, just how hard it’s likely to be to book a table in the new restaurant from the Pasta Loco team.

Cousins Ben Harvey and Dominic Bore have confirmed that Pasta Ripiena is set to open to the public on 13 April. It will be Ben’s Brother Joe heading up the kitchen, having previously worked at the popular Bell’s Diner and Bellita . It must run in the family.

Pasta Ripiena will stand in the compact spot that was previously the original Mr Wolfs location and serve stuffed pasta such as hand-rolled tortellini nero stuffed with crab & king prawns in mint butter with Italian peas. Or as the boys say, "if you can stuff it, we'll do it!".

If you are unsure what all the fuss is about, firstly maybe come out from underneath that rock. Secondly, go grab yourself the linguini salsiccia carbonara, pork belly and pancetta wrapped poached egg from Pasta Loco. The dish has gained an almost cult like status in Bristol and has ensured that new venture Pasta Ripiena has become one of the most hotly anticipated launches in recent memory.
