It's 'Time' for a feast..
We’re calling it: 2019 is going to be the year of collaborations, and it's kicking off with a pretty exciting one. Cabrito Goat Meat co-founder James Whetlor and award-winning food author Gill Meller will be taking over the kitchen at Flour and Ash for two nights to create a five-course feast, featuring recipes from Gill’s latest cookbook,Time.
Having worked together at River Cottage, James and Gill share a particular philosophy when it comes to cooking, crafting simple but delightful combinations with fresh seasonal ingredients. The evening itself will feature recipes such as mussel and lovage croquettes; grilled chicory with squash and hazelnuts; crab, fenugreek and eggs; smoked goat (of course) with beetroot and horseradish; and a fudge, raisin and hazelnut brittle parfait. Phwoar.
Tickets are available here for both evenings (11 and 12 February), and cost £38 per person.
