Crumbs podcast, episode 3

by Dan Izzard

09 August 2019

A brief pub history lesson, holiday eats, Fareshare South West's summer mission, wishing happy birthday to Burger Joint and revealing the Crumbs Awards finalists...

We're three! In the third epiosode of our foodie podcast we delve into the past of some fascinating Bath and Bristol boozers; after listening to Jess' history lesson you're bound to start to looking at your old failthy watering hole in a new light.

Part of the reason this episode is a little more than fashionably late is due to the Crumbs team going on holiday (separately, just poorly timed). Find out which holiday meal one Crumbs team member described as 'mildly arousing'.

Following an excellent event at Box-E last month, we headed to the Fareshare South West warehouse to find out about the huge issues of food waste and food poverty in Bristol. Really eye-opening.

We've also got all the latest news from the local food and drink scene, including the opening of Broad Street Town House, Wriggle launching in Bath, The Burger Joint celebrating their tenth year and the latest on the Crumbs Awards. The podcast is now available on Spotify and Soundcloud too so you can subscribe and not miss an episode.
