There’s a literal Christmas cheesecake and it’s everything we wished for

Forget the latest John Lewis advert, The Fine Cheese Co. in Bath have created a monster.
This Christmas cake comprises four layers of the finest cheese, weighing in at nearly two kilograms and is big enough to serve 10-20 people. That’s going to take a serious number of crackers.
Not stopping there, The Fine Cheese Co. also suggest pouring a little brandy into the Langres on the top and lighting it (just go Caerphilly) to create a Christmas spectacle that keeps on giving.
The layers of the cake include a Langres; an aromatic cheese from Champagne, a Cornish Yarg that won the gold medal at the 2017 British Cheese awards, a creamy and sinfully rich Brillat Savarin from France, and a Fougerus – a cheese which sits between a Brie de Meaux and a Camembert de Normandie.
The cake costs £57 and comes with indoor sparklers and a ribboned gift box. Order yours from from finecheese.co.uk
