New head chef Maddie Crombie looks to make her mark with fresh new menu
One of Gloucester Roads most loved independent bar and restaurants who have just celebrated their 6th birthday are welcoming with open arms the arrival of their new head chef Maddie Crombie.
Having previously worked at The Earth & Stars in Brighton, The Horse & Trap in Auckland, and having Galli legends Martin Stone and head chef at Poco Ian Clark as mentors, we can't wait to see what Maddie can do with her new menu at The Gallimaufry.
Pushing to include more vegetarian and vegan-centric inspired dishes, the new menu boasts a charred courgette & romesco sauce sharer dish, hake fillet main with butter bean ribollita, and desserts such as a chocolate ganache with strawberries and shortbread.
Maddie had this to say about her new menu, "The ingredients we are using really are at centre-stage and for me, it's important that they are the best we can use at that time. The team here are all creative and passionate, inspiring each other to come up with the most interesting way we can present the ingredients. It's a true team effort here."
The Gallimaufry will be serving brunch, lunch and dinner seven days a week with food starting from £10.
