Urban Standard to open in Exeter

New Exeter restaurant is setting the standard...

Popular independent Bristol bar and kitchen The Urban Standard are set to open the doors to their new site on South Street, Exeter, on Friday 3 November.

The South Street Standard will be a modern and contemporary venue in keeping with their stripped back, industrial chic branding; offering brunch, lunch, small plates and Sunday roasts. The bar will be stocked with a fine selection of local beers, wines and spirits, as well as delicious cocktails.

There already two sites in Bristol and one in Cardiff, which most know through their infamous  ‘Dirty Mac ‘n’ Cheese’ (as seen above) which is known locally as ‘the curse’ because once you see it, it consumes your thoughts until you finally get your hands on some.

The restaurant itself has been given that stripped back look in line with the other sites. Trying too hard is uncool you know. Directors Dom Wood and Tim Moore are thrilled to be a part of Exeter's thriving food and drinks scene, particularly amongst the other brilliant independent businesses within the city.

The South Street Standard is open seven days a week from 10am.
